Join the K2 crew. You'll be the first hello and the last thanks of somebody's workout: running the desk, signing up new members, blending shakes, and keeping this place the second home our members show up for.
Run the front desk. Greet, check in, and direct members and guests; monitor access and enforce club policies; be the first and last point of contact for everyone who walks in.
Take care of members. Build real relationships, answer questions about memberships and programs, resolve concerns quickly, and keep the energy up. People know each other here, and you help make that happen.
Sign up new members. Present plans, give tours, complete membership agreements, and support promotions and referrals to hit club goals. No hard-sell scripts: we succeed when members actually show up.
Handle phones and admin. Answer calls, return voicemails, schedule tours, and keep accurate records.
Run the systems. Use our Gym Assistant member portal for check-ins, payments, account changes, and point-of-sale; handle cash and cards accurately.
Work the shake bar. Prepare protein shakes, smoothies, and supplements to food-safety standards, and keep the area clean and stocked.
Keep the club clean. Sanitize the desk, restrooms, locker rooms, sauna, and equipment; sweep and mop; empty trash; work the cleaning checklist every shift.
Must have
High school diploma or equivalent, or working toward one. Friendly, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision. Basic computer skills, comfortable with cash and point-of-sale. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice to have
Customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or fitness experience. Gym Assistant or similar software. CPR/AED and First Aid. Food handler's permit, which is not required to start. Bilingual.
Schedule
Members have 24/7 keycard access, but the desk is staffed Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM EST. Shifts fall inside those hours, with occasional coverage outside them. Tell us what works for you.
Reports to
Ownership and the General Manager. K2 is locally owned by brothers Grant and Jarrett Ksenak, along with Devan Rowland, so you'll work alongside the people who make the decisions.
